The 16th Annual Australian Interactive Media Industry Association (AIMIA) awards were held on Friday, 5th March 2010. Ian Gardiner, Nick Bolton, Tim Chatfield and David Warwick represented Viocorp at the event and were honoured with the "Best Enterprise" award for our product Viocast.
Considered the industry's night of nights, the Annual AIMIA Awards, affectionately known as "the Amy's" are the longest running and most prestigious awards in Australia’s Interactive Media Industry. Showcasing the best in digital media in Australia and New Zealand, the Amy's represents a broad range of categories, including consumer, business, government and not-for-profit.
AMIA CEO, John Butterworth sumarised the event by saying "We're here tonight to recognise and celebrate the talent and efforts of those who are not only leaders in our market, but ever increasingly taking Australian digital know-how and can-do to the world".
Ian Gardiner, Viocorp CEO said of the win "We are absolutely thrilled to win this award. Normally AIMIA awards go to projects for clients. This win was unusual because it was awarded to a product. It recognised the strength, and indeed the commercial potential, of Viocast."
Our award winning product Viocast is an easy-to-use webcasting platform designed for broadcasting live or on-demand video/audio content with synchronised PowerPoint slides over the internet.
